My name is Doug Somerville and I’m a freelance designer based in Hertfordshire, UK. I’m focussed on web standards, clean design and creating great user-experiences.
I make my clients successful by helping them make their users happy. Put simply that’s using the web to identify, reach, engage and satisfy their customers.

Working out what you want to achieve and translating it into a flexible plan for how to do it online. This is the thinking behind the design.
Design & communication
Finding your audience and getting your message out there with well designed web sites, interfaces, branding, graphics or written content.
User experience design
Creating satisfying, useful and memorable experiences for your users. If your site does what your customers want it to, and does it without fuss, they’ll keep coming back.
Social media
Building meaningful relationships with your customers that they’ll tell people about. Using blogs, social networks or multimedia as ways of listening to and talking with your customers.
